JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Reverse Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily reverse‑logistics operations, including client‑requested and carrier‑initiated returns, transfers, and OS&D activities. The role ensures accurate data processing, timely freight tendering, shipment monitoring, and thorough investigation of discrepancies using carrier platforms and internal systems. The supervisor maintains complete documentation, prepares receiving reports, and ensures effective communication with Clients, Metro Claims, and Operations, while upholding all required processes, timelines, and service standards. (existing role)
 
SHIFT: Tuesday to Saturday 3:00pm-11:30pm
 
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Schedule the labour requirements for the shift to ensure production goals are met within the budgeted cost structure
• Complete shift briefings to ensure the effective communication of relevant information to all employees
• Assign and follow up with operators and warehouse staff on the length of time required for tasks to be completed by noting tasks assignments and communicating approximate time of completion
• Ensuring proper documentation, put away, picking and packing procedures are followed and that all staged items meet or exceeds Client's quality standards
• Manage end-to-end returns processes from the RMA through freight returns and returned goods processing
• Manage Bill of Ladings (BOL's) for appropriate return orders to correct vendors
 
• Maintain a positive relationship with all departments to coordinate inbound receiving processes
• Complying to strict scheduling with the vendors to acquire the appropriate RMA
• Actioning industry and organizational best practices
• Ensure all reverse logistics documentation is performed with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain targets, objectives, and goals throughout the warehouse and oversee driver return processes for compliance
• Supervise Proof of Delivery (POD) uploads for carrier and vendor compliance
• Review & supervise updating of the department transportation board
• Maintain warehouse cage lists by client Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) standards
 
• Supervise the process for loading returns, staging and proper tagging of units
 
• Coordinate communications effectively with internal and external clients
• Ensure the documentations for returns are completed correctly and attached to the products
• Ensuring product returns are sorted into designated warehouse sections and staged accordingly when the applicable Bill of Lading (BOL) has been created for transportation to the assigned 'Return to Company'
• Oversee the loading audit protocols for all outbound products
• Using Airtable to track, review and update daily delivery returns and inbound product from feeder hubs
• Oversee Asset tracker updates to ensure maintenance of accurate inventory records
• Provide daily feedback to employees through coaching and administer performance appraisals
• Handle all disciplinary situations appropriately and in a timely manner with appropriate supporting documentation
• Supervise all RVL inventory processing to ensure the product availability for customer shipments are timely managed and are compliant with the organization's RVL procedures and mandates
• Create and manage solutions for RVL inventory capacity issues
 
• Maintain targets, objectives, and goals throughout the warehouse and driver return processes
• Oversee SOP compliance for all RVL warehouse operations Position Operations Supervisor Metro Supply Chain (MTH) Inc.
• Supervise delivery return activity to ensure all team members are compliant with warehouse and return processes
• Responsible for entering and submitting hours for all RVL team members
• Responsible for creating, implementing and monitoring new processes for all RVL Warehouse Operations
• Ensure end of day checklist is completed and actioned by Team Lead
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Highly skilled in software systems, specifically TMS, Microsoft Office, and transport routing software.
Five (5) years warehouse experience, with two (2) years in a leadership role preferably within Lastmile.
Previous experience with Warehouse Management Information System (WMS)

COMPENSATION: $47,7000 - $70,000
