Agropur is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join the team at our Distribution Center in St-Hubert.The working hours are from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

The Warehouse Supervisor plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to receiving, storing, packaging products, and assembling orders.

• Salary range  004: 71 200$ to 89 000$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

What's involved in this rôle :

The Warehouse Supervisor's main responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met and that employees continuously work safely.

• Actively participating in maintaining regulatory, quality, sanitation, and food safety standards.

• Managing daily activities to execute the weekly plan based on incoming orders and ensuring both quantitative and qualitative targets are achieved.

• Ensuring employee performance and providing the necessary support for them to reach their objectives.

• Managing distribution center activities, including hiring, training, maintenance plan follow-up, participation in various committees, etc..

• Enforcing the collective agreement.

• Leading team meetings at the start of each shift.

• Identifying risks and improvement opportunities, analyzing them, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.

• Conducting investigations following incidents/accidents and proposing action plans.

• Maintaining a strong work climate by promoting participative management, communication, and continuous improvement.

• Supporting the management of all buildings, grounds, and equipment at the distribution center.

What you need to join our team

• Bachelor's degree or DEC in operations management, logistics, administration, or a related field.

• 5 to 7 years of experience in warehouse supervision in the food or pharmaceutical field. 

• Experience in a unionized environment.

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of SAP.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues in other Canadian provinces)
