Casual Security Guard

GardaWorld is currently seeking Casual Security Guards in the Barrie area to support open, seasonal, and short-notice shifts across multiple sites. This role requires open availability and the ability to adapt to different environments as needed. Ideal candidates are reliable, professional, and experienced in providing a safe and secure presence.

Additional Information:

• Shifts are not guaranteed and will vary based on operational needs
• Candidates must be flexible and willing to work at multiple sites

• Hourly pay ranges from $18.35 to $23.00 depending on the site worked

• Monitor and patrol assigned sites to ensure safety and security
• Control access points and verify identification as required
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a timely and professional manner
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily logs
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors
• Follow site-specific post orders and company policies

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Minimum 1 year of security guard experience
• Open availability to cover days, nights,weekends, and seasonal shifts
• Strong communication and observation skills
