Job Summary:
Join our Los Angeles, California team as a Material Handler! This role is essential for the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution center. You will be responsible for moving, organizing, and tracking materials and finished goods within the warehouse. Key duties include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring materials are stored correctly and safely. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses strong mechanical aptitude, and is committed to upholding a high standard of Safety. You will work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials onto and from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Transport materials within the warehouse, ensuring correct placement and organization.
  • Perform routine inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow all established Safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and order fulfillment.
  • Support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or forklift operator required (valid certification).
  • Ability to perform significant Lifting, up to 75 lbs.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse Safety practices and procedures.
  • Good mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics processes.
  • Must wear required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
