We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Boise, Idaho. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is critical to our supply chain operations, ensuring that our customers receive their items accurately and on time. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing technology such as RF scanners to locate and retrieve items. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess good organizational skills, and have a commitment to safety. We offer a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for growth within the company. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse setting. Compliance with all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and/or pick lists.
- Locate and retrieve items from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to a supervisor immediately.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a standing and walking environment for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
