Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our advanced facility in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure, ensuring a safe and efficient logistics environment. Your technical expertise will be crucial in minimizing downtime and supporting the seamless flow of goods through our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sorters, forklifts, and other machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to minimize unexpected breakdowns.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Collaborate with warehouse management and operations teams to address technical challenges and improve workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA requirements, and utilize appropriate PPE.
  • Support the overall logistics and operational efficiency of the warehouse through reliable equipment performance.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance requests to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures is essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations is a plus.
