We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and packing customer orders from warehouse shelves. Your role is crucial to ensuring our customers receive their products on time and in excellent condition. This position requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be working with a variety of products, from small items to larger goods, and will be trained on our state-of-the-art warehouse management system. Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude are essential. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse setting, possess strong attention to detail, and be comfortable with physical tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner or pick sheet.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify product counts and accuracy against order documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
