We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Sacramento, California. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be comfortable with physical labor, and possess a keen eye for detail. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and preparing materials for shipment. We emphasize a safe working environment, and all team members are required to use appropriate PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, and store).
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Maintain inventory and notify supervisor of any discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (if applicable).
- Assist in keeping an accurate inventory of stock.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in logistics and warehouse operations.
- Handle physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
