Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse inventory using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack orders securely and efficiently.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Stage packed orders in the designated area for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damages encountered during the picking and packing process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
