Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas.
- Pick and pack orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and stage orders for shipment, coordinating with transportation.
- Use hand tools and power equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely.
- Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist in keeping inventory records up to date.
- Report any unsafe conditions or damaged goods to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring considerable physical exertion, including significant lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Understanding of safety protocols within a warehouse setting.
