Join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas, as a Warehouse Associate! This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to learn and contribute to our warehouse operations. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, from receiving and storing goods to picking orders and preparing them for shipment, playing an integral part in our logistics chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Sort and stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks as directed.
- Operate manual warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including your workstation.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times to ensure personal and team safety.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support overall logistics goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations is helpful.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
