About
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will involve accurately picking items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, demanding efficiency and precision.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and order tickets.
- Utilize handheld scanners or other technology to track inventory and order progress.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified and required for the role) safely.
- Verify order accuracy before and after picking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing items to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Adhere to all PPE requirements, including wearing appropriate safety gear at all times.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand picking lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety in the workplace.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
