Job Summary:
Seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker for our busy distribution center in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders using a handheld scanner and preparing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are crucial to our logistics operations. You will navigate the warehouse, locate specified items, and ensure orders are complete and correctly packaged. A commitment to safety and a strong work ethic are essential. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus, but we are happy to train motivated individuals. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanner system.
  • Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
  • Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
  • Operate handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
  • Report any damaged or missing items to a supervisor.
  • Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing targets.
  • Support overall logistics operations and team goals.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or order picking experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Capability of lifting and moving items up to 35 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic reading and math skills.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
