Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and move materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of all goods.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through timely data entry and system updates.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of materials to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including strict compliance with PPE requirements.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Contribute to a strong safety culture by identifying and reporting potential risks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Proficiency in operating pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
