About
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse. You'll be responsible for moving, locating, and preparing products for shipment using a forklift. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to various staging areas, and assisting with inventory management. Safety is our top priority, and you will be required to operate machinery with utmost care, follow all safety guidelines, and wear the designated PPE at all times. A strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory flow is essential. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift certification, a proven commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with different types of forklifts and warehouse equipment is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport products to and from various locations within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-operational checks on forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways.
- Follow all established safety procedures and wear all required PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse operations.
- Ensure adherence to lifting safety standards.
