Join our innovative Smart Agents team, dedicated to creating groundbreaking ML and RL models that simulate road users in diverse scenarios, crucial for advancing autonomous vehicle (AV) technology. You will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing training loops, streamlining integration, and establishing a robust ML infrastructure to support rapid experimentation and production model deployment. What You Will Do: Collaborate with the team to develop and refine machine learning (ML) and reinforcement learning (RL) models, focusing on training loop development and optimization. Enhance integration processes and build essential ML infrastructure, including metrics and data pipelines for efficient production deployment and experimentation. Contribute your software engineering expertise to accelerate project timelines related to Autopilot, Lane Keep, and other AV technologies. Utilize your experience in simulation and robotics, preferably from an AV or robotics background. Your Skills & Abilities: Minimum of 4 years in robotics or latency-sensitive backend services. Experience with machine learning teams, algorithms, and models. Bonus: Proven track record in building high-performance ML and system pipelines. Proficient in modern C++ or Python programming. Bonus:
Familiarity with profiling CPU/GPU software and process scheduling. A passion for self-driving car technology and its transformative impact. Expertise in designing scalable, efficient, and fault-tolerant architectures. Strong ability to navigate across multiple systems with a good breadth of understanding. Adaptability to take on various roles, including coding, design, and mentorship, while exercising excellent judgment to prioritize tasks effectively. Experience deploying perception/prediction/AV models in real-world environments. Knowledge in reinforcement learning and sequence prediction models. Compensation:
This job offers a competitive salary range between $134,000 to $205,000, depending on experience. The compensation package includes an incentive pay program based on individual and company performance, plus a comprehensive benefits program covering medical, dental, vision care, and more. This position qualifies for relocation benefits.
