We have a position for an experienced technical lead / data scientist to assist with the analysis of data from engine applications
What you will be doing:
PowerBI & SSAS model development Leverages data science expertise to solve complex business problems. Optimize algorithms in Python (PySpark) and SQL; to improve processing time and query response. Participate with different product teams to bridge the work between the product owners and data engineers. Support the product owner with business logic development, build proof of concepts and supports the development of capable data model. Design, implement and validates complex algorithms to analyze diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcomes by leveraging statistical and predictive modeling concepts. Partners with data engineers with data preparation, wrangling, enable appropriate data flow / data model, development and prototyping. Contributes to the integrity of the data for the model, clarifying data sources and structures to data engineers. Define and develop appropriate data science methodologies to automate data labeling and data identification. Works with product owners for validating the output of the solution. Support Model based development and relevant documentation. Sustains, controls, and monitors the solutions for continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas:
Azure Databricks PowerBI Programming languages across Scala, Python, Pyspark, NodeJS and Express

What you'll need to be successful:
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines. 2+ years of relevant full-time work experience. Proficient in Python, PySpark and SQL Experience creating PowerBI & SSAS models Preferred to have experience with DataBricks Preferred to have experience with Telematics data stream (time series data) Humble, teachable, and who solve their own problems Effective and collaborative team player Good communicator - written and verbal Great collaborator
