Job Description
As Commerce Media Search Engine Optimization Manager, you'll analyze search data to provide tremendous insights into the motivations of consumers, leading a team that's on the cutting edge of search technology and search engine marketing strategies. Additionally, you'll partner with SEO leads to drive organic discoverability and conversion across priority retail marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, and others) and brand-owned sites for Organic Commerce projects and scopes. You'll assist in keyword strategy creation, listing optimizations, and digital shelf performance reporting with an emphasis on Retail SEO, content, product detail page & AI/LLM optimizations.
Consulting with internal teams and clients on search engine accessibility Working closely with analysts & commerce media teams to develop optimization recommendations and managing all phases of the process, from keyword research and analysis through delivery of assets Working with internal project teams to implement search engine optimization strategies and best practices (inclusive of owning SKU-level keyword maps) Managing the development and delivery of monthly/quarterly metrics reports Provide recommendations to optimize listings end to end (titles, bullets, attributes, variants, A+/rich media, backend terms) to retailer policies Lean into understanding the changing algorithms across retailers (between paid & organic) Understand the role that the AI assistants play within the retailer ecosystem and how to maintain visibility and best practices as they change Familiarity with Amazon AI developments (Rufus, conversational search, semantic ranking) SEO copywriting to support visibility across SERP and AI assistants SEO optimizations based on changing trends and retailer algorithms SEO deployment across retailers (vendor central) or syndication partners (salsify) Vet and champion owned and 3P data, tech and tools for insights, writing and deployment Managing the development and delivery of monthly/quarterly metrics reports Responsibilities
Consulting with internal teams and clients on search engine accessibility Analyzing keyword research to determine strategic goals Working closely with analysts to develop optimization recommendations and managing all phases of the process, from keyword research and analysis through delivery of assets Overseeing the execution of link-building strategies Working with internal project teams to implement search engine optimization strategies and best practices Managing the development and delivery of monthly/quarterly metrics report Qualifications
A four-year degree in marketing, computer science or a related field 4 to 6 years of combined experience in search engine optimization, project management, account management or a related field Hands-on with retailer and SEO datasets/tools:
Retail: Helium 10 (Cerebro, Magnet, Keyword Tracker, Alerts), Profitero or similar digital shelf platforms, Amazon Vendor/Seller Central and Brand Registry, Walmart Seller Center, Target Partners SEO: SEMrush, BrightEdge (or equivalent), Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4; experience with feed/PIM and content syndication (e.g., Salsify/Syndigo) a plus. Proven leadership skills and prior experience managing a team Experience scoping projects, providing forecasts and driving ongoing process improvement Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and make smart, fast decisions Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS Stellar communication and presentation skills - you're poised, articulate and convincing

Compensation Range: $75,050 - $120,159 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
