We currently have an opening for
Data Analyst
. The Data Analyst is responsible for partnering with product and technical teams to design and support measurement and evaluation of NAMI's programs, initiatives, and services. As a key member of the Data Team, the Data Analyst will support the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to foster improvement and inform decision-making across NAMI initiatives. This position advances NAMI's mission by ensuring the consistent use of data for program evaluation and continuous improvement of NAMI activities.
This full-time position can be remote or based at NAMI Headquarters in Arlington, VA on a hybrid basis.
Salary Range:
$68k - $75k
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and lead data projects from beginning to end, including discovery, analysis, and delivery to meet project objectives.
Understand data needs across the organization to develop quantitative and qualitative data measures that provide actionable insights.
Partner with data team members to design, standardize, and automate reporting
Design and implement evaluation frameworks that measure long-term outcomes and
Establish and support implementation of sustainable protocols and processes for data collection, management, and evaluation to ensure team consistency and quality, collaborating with Information Systems (IS) on infrastructure dependencies as needed.
Partner with stakeholders to effectively communicate insights from data analysis, including the creation of data visualizations.
Collaborate with the development team to provide proposal evaluation metrics and produce deliverables for grant requirements.
Provide technical guidance on data storage, data cleaning, and data use best practices.
Collaborate with the Data Team and other NAMI National staff to address barriers to effective data management and reporting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in data science, business analytics, statistics, public health, social sciences, or related field
2-4 years of relevant experience
Proficiency with mixed methods data analysis (quantitative and qualitative data)
Strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills
Strong technical skills using survey, data analysis, and visualization software (e.g. SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, STATA, Excel, NVivo, Power BI, Tableau)
Familiarity with data modeling, database systems and languages (e.g. SQL Server, BigQuery)
Expert communicator that can produce clear and concise reporting with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences
Strong team player with a high level of interpersonal skills
Must pass background check
