Sales Development Representative
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating and qualifying leads for Terra's solar panel solutions. This role serves as the first point of contact with potential customers, educating them on the benefits of solar energy, identifying their needs, and scheduling qualified appointments for the sales team. Key Responsibilities
Proactively contact potential customers via outbound calls, inbound leads, emails, and text campaigns. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria (homeownership, energy usage, location, readiness to switch to solar). Educate prospects on Terra's solar solutions, incentives, and long-term energy savings. Schedule and confirm appointments or consultations for Solar Sales Consultants. Accurately document all interactions, notes, and lead status in the CRM system. Follow up consistently with prospects to maintain engagement and increase conversion rates. Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead quality and messaging. Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (calls, contacts, appointments set). Stay informed on solar industry trends, local incentives, and Terra's product offerings. Required Qualifications
1+ year of experience as an SDR, BDR, call center agent, or inside sales representative. Strong communication and persuasion skills. Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling. Basic understanding of sales funnels and lead qualification. Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar). High level of organization and time management skills. Goal-oriented mindset with resilience and persistence. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in solar, renewable energy, real estate, or home improvement sales. Knowledge of Florida solar incentives and net metering (a plus). Bilingual (English / Spanish) strongly preferred. Experience working in fast-paced, performance-driven environments. Key Skills & Competencies
