Position Summary
Plug Power Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated student to join our team. The student will be responsible for assisting in a wide variety of initiatives and projects in support of your academic studies and interests. In this role, you will gain exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment which includes developing a detailed understanding of Plug Power's products.
Core Duties and Responsibilities Software design areas may include but are not limited to: Battery Management Systems (BMS), Electronic Control Units (ECUs), Motor Controllers (MCU's), DC/DC Converters, and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI). Maintain and enhance existing embedded software to improve reliability, performance, and compliance with updated standards. (UL1998, ISO26262, IEC61508, etc.). Investigate and resolve software defects, field issues, and customer-reported problems, ensuring timely root cause analysis and corrective actions. Gain a foundational understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in manufacturing and technology. Communication and Collaboration Develop effective communication skills by collaborating with team members and presenting findings to different stakeholders. Education and Qualification
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science, Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related program Must have reliable transportation to the office Excellent written and verbal communication skills Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail Excellent follow-through Must be driven and self-motivated
Estimated Base Salary Range:
$21.00 - $25.00
