Position Description & Qualifications Join Serco as a Global Learning Data Analyst and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to supporting the Joint Lessons Learned Program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to organizational goals within the Collective Joint Training task order, working closely with our team in Suffolk, Virginia. Eligibility Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Possess an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance and be able to obtain a Top Secret (TS) clearance. In this role, you will: Gather and prepare data from diverse sources for insightful analysis. Analyze extensive unstructured data to identify significant trends and patterns. Develop innovative machine learning models and predictive algorithms to address business challenges. Utilize statistical methods to validate findings and uphold accuracy. Automate processes using advanced AI tools and programming techniques. Create compelling visualizations and reports to effectively communicate results. Collaborate with various teams to implement data-driven insights. Stay current on the latest trends and tools in data science. To thrive in this position, you will need: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field accompanied by at least 10 years of relevant experience. Strong project planning and reporting capabilities with minimal supervision. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills suitable for formal report preparation. Capability to plan and track work progress efficiently. Willingness to work on-site in Suffolk, Virginia. Availability for occasional travel (up to 10%). Additional desirable skills: Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Aptitude for explaining technical concepts in a clear and user-friendly manner. Proven experience working collaboratively with customers and stakeholders. Experience in preparing products like briefings and reports for senior leadership.
