Position Summary:
The Data Analyst – Manufacturing plays a critical role in supporting a high-volume, fresh salad processing facility by transforming operational, maintenance, quality, safety, and environmental data into actionable insights. This role is responsible for integrating data from multiple systems—including TOFINO (CMMS), VORNE (OEE and loss tracking), production systems, and utility monitoring platforms—to drive performance improvement, equipment reliability, cost control, and sustainability.
The position partners closely with Production, Maintenance, QA, EHS, Engineering, and Site Leadership to provide clear visibility to operational performance, losses, trends, and opportunities, while supporting continuous improvement, TPM, and Environmental Management System (EMS) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Integration
Collect, validate, and reconcile data from multiple manufacturing systems (e.g., TOFINO CMMS, VORNE OEE, production records, QA, EHS, utilities, and other databases). Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across platforms and reports. Program and maintain daily production data inputs and automated reporting routines. Operational & Performance Analytics
Analyze production performance, OEE, downtime, losses, labor efficiency, yield, and throughput trends. Support root cause analysis and loss tree development using VORNE and production data. Translate complex datasets into clear insights, recommendations, and improvement opportunities for leadership. Maintenance & Reliability Support
Partner with Maintenance and Engineering teams to analyze CMMS data (TOFINO), including work orders, PM compliance, downtime drivers, and asset performance. Develop reliability, MTBF/MTTR, and maintenance effectiveness dashboards. Environmental & Utilities Reporting (EMS)
Track, analyze, and present trends in utilities usage (water, electricity, gas, compressed air, etc.) as part of the Environmental Management System (EMS). Support sustainability, cost reduction, and regulatory reporting initiatives through accurate utilities data analysis. Reporting & Visualization
Design, build, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and standardized reports using tools such as Tableau and Excel. Create clear graphs, infographics, and visual summaries for daily, weekly, and monthly management reviews. Support site KPI tracking aligned with safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and people metrics. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work cross-functionally with Production, QA, EHS, Maintenance, Finance, and Site Leadership to understand business needs and define analytics requirements. Support Lean, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights. Define project scopes, data needs, and success metrics for operational improvement projects. Other Duties
Perform other related duties as assigned to support plant operations and business objectives. Minimum Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced operation. Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias for action. Preferred Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools. Experience working with CMMS and OEE systems (TOFINO, VORNE, or equivalent preferred). Experience analyzing utilities, energy, or environmental data. Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred. Desired Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear operational insights. Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Results-oriented mindset aligned with continuous improvement and operational excellence. Curiosity, passion for learning, and interest in working in a mission-driven, plant-rich food culture. Working Environment:
Manufacturing and office environment within a fresh food processing facility. Requires regular interaction with production floor teams and leadership.
