About
Take ownership of APIs, schemas, SLOs, observability, and on-call responsibilities for the systems you oversee.
Lead multi-month projects aimed at enhancing latency, reliability, and cost-efficiency, including new chain integrations and system migrations.
Collaborate with various teams to define data contracts and launch SDKs/platform primitives that foster adoption.
What We Value in You: At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
Strong background in distributed systems or data systems is crucial. Knowledge of crypto is a significant advantage.
You have successfully architected and implemented solutions for complex problems with considerable impact.
You are enthusiastic about building an indexing platform that bridges the gaps between the Web3 and Web2 ecosystems.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in designing and developing distributed systems.
Have participated in a company's rapid growth (e.g., from a small team to hundreds of engineers).
Experience with blockchain technologies (e.g. Bitcoin, Ethereum).
A proven track record in decomposing large monolithic applications into microservices.
Familiarity with technologies such as Golang, Kafka, Redis, S3, Clickhouse, and MongoDB.
You have contributed to high-reliability or high-security financial systems.
Crypto-forward expertise, including understanding on-chain activity such as using Ethereum addresses, engaging with dApps, and working with blockchain services.

The target annual salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
