Infrastructure Solutions Engineer

You will have the opportunity to work remotely while being within a reasonable commuting distance from any of our listed offices: Seattle, Portland, Anchorage, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, or Washington D.C. In this role, you will implement and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and performing at their best. On a typical day you will: User Access Control:
Manage user access to resources, ensuring compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements. Server Management:
Oversee both physical and virtual servers, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. System Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
Monitor systems and networks to identify performance issues and security vulnerabilities, resolving them to ensure peak efficiency. Data Backup and Recovery:
Implement backup solutions and ensure functional disaster recovery plans are in place. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues across the organization. Cloud Infrastructure:
Manage cloud services, ensuring flawless integration with on-premise systems. Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of network configurations, system updates, and infrastructure changes. Capacity Planning:
Evaluate future IT infrastructure needs, planning upgrades to accommodate growth. Collaboration with Other Teams:
Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operational functionality. Join us if you have: 3+ years' experience in managing Active Directory (AD) and Entra for identity federation, hybrid environments, and cloud-based authentication solutions. 3+ years' experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter for deployment and management of virtual machines. 3+ years' experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft Exchange Server (on-premises and hybrid) and Mimecast. 3+ years' experience in Windows Server Administration, including orchestration and security controls. 3+ years' experience using PowerShell for task automation including server and Exchange management. Previous experience in a law firm or professional services organization, preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Communications, or equivalent experience required. Expert knowledge of AD and Identity Services, including management of access controls and federation solutions. Expert knowledge of Exchange Online, proficiency in mailbox management, and experience with Mimecast. Strong skills in administering clustered VMware environments optimizing high availability and performance. Basic knowledge of orchestrating server deployments and automating management tasks with tools like VMware and Azure Automation. Extensive knowledge in configuring and managing file shares, implementing data archiving strategies for cost optimization. The salary range is $108,000 to $116,000. Adjustments based on qualifications and experience apply. Full-time employees may be eligible for bonuses and extensive benefits. California:
Salary ranges from $104,000 to $135,000 depending on the office location, with eligibility for bonuses and comprehensive benefits. New York:
The salary range is $113,000 to $122,000 with adjustments based on experience and eligibility for bonuses and benefits. District of Columbia:
Salary ranges from $107,000 to $116,000, with adjustments based on experience and bonus eligibility.
