Attendance at team and company-wide offsites is expected and fully supported. About the Team: The Asset Data Platform team handles all blockchain data for Coinbase. This critical platform serves as the backbone for many of our services, providing real-time asset and blockchain data to our customers. From trades and charts to wallet balances and DeFi positions, our work underpins the entire Coinbase experience, enabling us to collect, normalize, and offer real-time prices, asset metadata, and historical data at scale. Responsibilities: Design and implement next-generation crypto data systems that power Coinbase's offerings.
Engage with stakeholders across various organizations to enhance Coinbase products and financial operations.
Contribute to shaping the strategy and execution roadmap for the Asset Data team.
Lead individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while leveraging your technical expertise.
Mentor and coach team members on design methodologies and coding best practices.
Write high-quality, thoroughly tested code to meet customer needs effectively.
Preferred Qualifications: Over 10 years of experience in backend software engineering, particularly with Golang or similar languages.
Demonstrated experience architecting and developing solutions to complex, impactful problems.
Strong technical background in building distributed systems capable of processing massive volumes of data.
Proven track record of leading intricate, cross-organizational initiatives and fostering architectural consistency.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
An unwavering drive to set ambitious goals and the determination to see them through.
A passion for creating an open financial system that promotes unity around the globe.
Bonus Qualifications: Experience with crypto technologies.
A background working in both startup environments and large enterprises.

Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position can range from $253,895 to $298,700. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility, equity opportunities, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
