------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Senior Data Analyst, under the supervision of the Executive Director of Institutional Research, provides overall direction and management for the gathering, compiling, and performs modeling/analysis services to mine systems and applications, builds, deploys and maintains data support tools, metadata inventories, and supports institution-wide data governance protocols.
The salary is determined in accordance with the University's compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates' education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.
Responsibilities: Extract/Transfer/Load (ELT) the development of the Institutional Research EAB Edify data lake and data warehouse, including the original Operational Data Store System (ODS) is set up to ensure accurate and timely internal and external reporting. Ensure information is collected and official reports are produced to maintain compliance with all external reporting to regulators. Prepare data for reporting by extracting Banner and/or Edify database variables and conducting processes of data validation with Excel and Argos to ensure accurate and reliable data for reporting. ELT the Argos reporting system and the development of automatically scheduled email reports and FTP reporting. Leads the ongoing reporting and updates of enrollment, retention, and graduation information for all students and transforms reports to data visualizations to support data dissemination and data-based decision-making across campus. Manage and update all external surveys for submission including US News and World Reports, Common Data Set, and other standard reports and surveys for higher education. Supports and performs other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Four years of related experience in data collection and analysis and using data management information systems. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience with word-processing, spreadsheet, and database applications Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Preferred Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree Fifteen years of related experience in data collection and analysis, and using data management and information systems. Job Posting Close Date:
