We're a teeny tiny indie studio working on our first game. We want to work with people who want to work on something scrappy and special and beautiful.

Description

We're looking for someone to join our tiny team working on an ambitious third-person video game and help us figure out how to make great looking animated humanoid characters.

This is a contract position with the potential to become full time as the game progresses.

Responsibilities

  • Create characters, clothing, hair, and textures in Reallusion CC5
  • Help create a library of animation clips that can be sequenced for RPG-style dialogue trees (mix-and-match, we won't have bespoke animations for every line)
  • Create custom animations for cutscenes
  • Author gameplay and locomotion animations
  • Animate facial + body inΒ 
    iClone 8
    Β (or equivalent)
  • Ensure LODs, materials, and physics/cloth are working in engine in Unity 6 HDRP

Requirements

  • Experience designing characters and clothing with Reallusion Character Creator 4 or 5
  • Experience with facial and body animation
  • Experience bringing animated characters into Unity
  • Experience with wiring animations into Unity's animation systems

Nice-to-have

  • General animation experience for non-humanoid characters
  • Experience with motion, facial, or performance capture technology that could be implemented with this pipeline
  • Experience with motion matching
  • Programming experience in Unity / C#
