Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Senior Design and Analysis Engineer (Electronic Sys Design & Analy) top join our F/A-18 Mission Systems team in Berkely, MO. This position is for a level-4 integration engineer to lead in the requirements, development and test for integrating new capabilities for the F/A-18 aircraft as part of the Advanced Mission Systems organization. Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications. Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs. Secret Security Clearance (U.Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) ~ . Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry ~(Level 4) 9+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor's or 7+ years of work related experience with a Master's or 4+ years of work related experience with a PhD ~ Experience in developing or integrating Mission Systems for military aircraft Experience with electronic system design, code and test Experience with Multi-Level Security (MLS) implementation Experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) process Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
