Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Stay Premium Program — Earn up to $8/hour extra based on Mercy tenure
Special Float Pool Pay Differentials:
- + $5.00/hr for RNs without ICU experience
- + $7.50/hr for RNs with ICU experience
Shift Differentials (Evening/Night)
Weekend Option Differential — $20/hr RN
Student Loan Forgiveness — Up to $20,000 for new grad nurses
Tuition Reimbursement — Up to $2,000 per year
Base Hourly Rate + All Applicable Differentials

? About the Float Pool If you enjoy variety and thrive in a fast-paced environment, the Float Pool is perfect for you! You’ll develop top-notch clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills while working alongside compassionate, dedicated professionals. Float Pool RNs rotate across the following units:

Emergency Department
ICU
Cardiac Telemetry
Medical-Surgical - (Adults)
Medical-Surgical - (Adults & Peds)

? Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program
Licensure: Active RN license in Missouri or compact license (must meet state board requirements)
Experience: 1+ year RN experience preferred
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire
- Depending on assignment, may also require:
  - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Physical Requirements:
- Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting throughout shifts
