In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from our inventory and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. This involves understanding order details, efficiently locating items, and ensuring each order is complete and error-free. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is critical, and all employees must strictly follow safety guidelines, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Collaboration with team members is key to ensuring workflow efficiency and meeting daily targets. The ideal candidate possesses excellent observational skills, manual dexterity, and the ability to perform effectively during peak periods. Prior experience in warehouse picking and packing is highly advantageous. Your physical capabilities will be actively engaged as you will be standing and moving throughout the warehouse regularly. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products based on order specifications.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packaging.
- Package goods securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for transit.
- Assist with inventory checks and updates.
- Comply with all established warehouse safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
A significant requirement for this position is the ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Become a key contributor to our logistics operations and help us deliver exceptional service from Grand Rapids.
