Job Summary:
Join our team in Miami, Florida as an Inventory Control Specialist. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize shrinkage and improve stock accuracy. Your work directly impacts our logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction. A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE, are crucial for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts of warehouse inventory.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize losses.
  • Conduct audits of inventory storage areas for accuracy and organization.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper inventory tracking.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to optimize inventory flow.
  • Train other warehouse staff on inventory control best practices.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role is required. Must be proficient with inventory management software and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs) and prolonged periods of standing and computer work. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities are essential. A strong commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. Must be 18 years or older.
