About
We are looking for an efficient Order Picker to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders. This position is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that we meet customer demands effectively. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, requiring focus, speed, and precision. Maintaining a safe work area and correctly using all required PPE are essential components of this job.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient operations and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or stock issues to a supervisor.
- Operate pallet jacks or other manual equipment safely.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, supporting the overall logistics flow.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets.
- Ensure the careful handling of all products.
Qualifications:
Previous order picking experience is preferred. Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent lifting (up to 45 lbs) and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately are essential. Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory systems is a plus. A commitment to safety and proper use of PPE is required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
