Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts? We are hiring an Order Picker to join our dedicated warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role is fundamental to our **Logistics** operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. We maintain a strong focus on **Safety**, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of **PPE**, is essential. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of **Lifting** items up to 40 pounds. This position offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment and contribute directly to our company's success. You will collaborate with a team to achieve daily picking targets and maintain operational efficiency. A commitment to a safe and productive workplace is paramount. Your role is critical in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order slips.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all **Safety** guidelines.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, as needed, while adhering to **Safety** protocols.
- Properly use required **PPE** at all times.
- Assist with **Lifting** and moving inventory as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read order slips and identify products accurately.
- Physical ability to perform **Lifting** and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of **PPE** and warehouse **Safety** practices.
- Basic understanding of **Logistics** principles is helpful.
