Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
- Store merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Load outbound trucks as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend throughout the entire shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and basic logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
