Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring accuracy and minimizing damage.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification or demonstrated experience.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This role requires significant physical exertion, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles is a plus.
