As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your role is vital to ensuring that our customers receive the correct products on time, making you a critical part of our logistics operation. Responsibilities include:
- Reading and understanding pick lists or using RF scanning devices to identify products.
- Locating items in designated warehouse areas.
- Picking the correct quantity of each item specified on the order.
- Ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Consolidating picked items for staging and further processing.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Your safety and the safety of your colleagues are paramount. You will be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all warehouse safety protocols. This role involves significant physical activity, including walking, standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items that can vary in weight. Prior experience in a warehouse setting or as an order picker is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals.
