We have an exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer at our Boise, Idaho warehouse! Join our logistics team and be a key player in fulfilling customer orders with precision and speed. Your responsibilities will include locating items within the warehouse, accurately packing them for shipment, and ensuring the quality of our outbound products. This fast-paced role demands efficiency, attention to detail, and a strong adherence to safety protocols. We emphasize a safe working environment, requiring all team members to utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow best practices for lifting and handling.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order slips or electronic devices.
- Pack products carefully into shipping containers, selecting appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Conduct quality checks on items and packaging to maintain high standards.
- Verify order details against picked items for 100% accuracy.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation to packages correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as cycle counting and stock replenishment.
- Report any damages or discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment setting is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Must be a reliable team player with good communication skills.
