We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and efficiency are paramount. You will be responsible for locating, picking, and packing a variety of products according to order specifications. Proper handling and packaging of goods are essential to prevent damage during transit.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order pick lists or scanning devices.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Participate in training sessions to improve picking and packing techniques.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment setting is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading comprehension.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
