About
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our busy Logistics facility in Atlanta, Georgia. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, and ensuring materials are organized and staged correctly for subsequent operations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of warehouse workflows, a commitment to adhering to Safety regulations, and the physical capability to handle goods of varying weights. You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and productive workflow. Full training on equipment operation and safety procedures will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and stage materials for production or shipping.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE .
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Assist with inventory tasks as needed.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 70 lbs.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
