About
Take charge of inventory accuracy in our Provo, Utah facility as an Inventory Control Specialist. We're looking for a dedicated professional to maintain the integrity of our stock, ensuring precision in our logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular inventory counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and contributing to the efficiency of our warehouse. Safety is paramount; you will be expected to champion and adhere to all safety protocols and properly utilize required PPE. This role requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory.
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between system data and physical stock.
- Implement and refine inventory control procedures to minimize loss and errors.
- Manage and monitor stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) to ensure product freshness.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, movement, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to address inventory challenges.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the WMS.
- Promote and enforce safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in WMS and other inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to handle light to moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
