Our client base continues to grow month on month and as a result we are now looking for an Electrically Biased Resident engineer to join us on our upward journey. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a reliable and experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer with a strong background in maintaining and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and retails sites. Delivering both planned maintenance and reactive repairs to keep buildings safe, compliant and fully operational. Comfortable carrying out testing, fault finding and general electrical works, while ensuring all documentation and records are kept up to date via a CAFM system. A proactive problem-solver with a strong focus on safety, customer service and completing tasks efficiently. Fully qualified, flexible to support call-out requirements, and committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship at all times. WHAT TOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Completion of PPM and reactive works
Production of quotes including correct parts and labour times required to ensure profitability, cost control and client satisfaction.
Responsible for ensuring effective diagnostic of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment.
Record and document all work carried out and raise appropriate documentation.
Work in accordance with mandatory, health, safety, compliance and environmental requirements.
Ensure contractual SLA and KPIs are met.
Consistently promote high standards through personal standards.
Liaise with other departments, suppliers and other service providers.
Maintaining site logbooks as required
Protect the company reputation by ensuring the company is always portrayed in a good light and carrying out any other reasonable duties deemed necessary to ensure the business can fulfil its moral, legal duties and obligations.
Able to communicate efficiently with client and helpdesk and Account management team to any matter arising.
Ensure equipment, tools, parts and company assets are calibrated, maintained and looked after in an appropriate manner.
Be part of the out of hours call Rota on rotation.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Preferred NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent City & Guilds or equivalent approved apprenticeship 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) ECS Gold Card (Installation Electrician) or working towards 3-5 years experience in commercial building services or FM City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection or working towards Recognised Electrical Vehicle, Solar Panel or Battery Storage qualification. Not Essential Previous LV AP appointment Recognised Level 1 or above in Thermography. Recognised Portable Appliance Testing qualification IPAF PASMA First Aid at Work IOSH Working Safely Legionella Training THE PACKAGE Starting salary DOE with annual pay reviews.
