About
Our Portland, Oregon location is seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and efficiently packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact our customer satisfaction. You will work within our established logistics framework, ensuring that all orders are processed correctly and on time. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all team members are required to follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to begin a career in warehousing and logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory based on order sheets.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping.
- Verify order accuracy before packing.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear required PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of order fulfillment and logistics principles.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
