About
We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving a wide range of tasks from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping preparation. You will be responsible for maintaining an orderly and safe working environment, handling materials with care, and ensuring inventory accuracy. A strong understanding of logistics principles and a commitment to upholding safety standards are essential. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. You will be provided with and expected to use appropriate PPE . Tasks will involve considerable lifting and movement of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock inventory in designated locations accurately.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Load trucks for outgoing deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktakes.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and maintain required PPE at all times.
- Support overall warehouse and logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols.
- Willingness to use appropriate PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of logistics principles is advantageous.
