Join our thriving warehouse as a Warehouse Associate in Miami, Florida! This position is critical to our daily operations, ensuring that goods are received, processed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including order picking, packing, receiving, put-away, and general warehouse maintenance. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is a top priority, and adherence to all safety guidelines is mandatory. This role offers a great opportunity to grow within the logistics industry. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products are handled with care to prevent damage. Expect to utilize various equipment and technology to track inventory and fulfill orders. The use of appropriate PPE will be required at all times. This position involves regular physical exertion, including substantial lifting .
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Put away received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Stage orders for outgoing delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Follow all established safety procedures and protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
- Ensure correct use of PPE at all times.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure smooth logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies.
- Willingness to wear required PPE , including safety shoes and vests.
- Understanding of inventory control principles.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
