Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily activities of the warehouse team.
- Ensure accurate receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to existing staff.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and transportation.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar logistics role.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain principles.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, including OSHA requirements and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
