Procurement Coordinator

What You'll Do:
Tactical Sourcing & Supply Support
• Execute spot-buy sourcing activities in line with demand forecasts
• Coordinate directly with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules
• Negotiate pricing for non-contracted purchases to support cost competitiveness
• Act as a first point of contact for escalated supply issues, supporting expediting and issue resolution
Vendor Onboarding & Compliance
• Manage the administrative process for onboarding new vendors
• Coordinate with Quality, Finance, and Procurement to collect required documentation (e.g., certifications, banking details, NDAs)
• Maintain accurate and compliant supplier records in line with Nature's Path standards
Data Integrity & ERP Support (IFS)
• Maintain and update procurement data within the IFS ERP system, including contracts and pricing lists
• Audit system data to prevent invoicing errors or supply disruptions
• Support data accuracy to enable smooth purchasing and reliable financial reporting
Team & Operational Support
• Provide administrative and reporting support to the Procurement Manager
• Assist with tactical projects and peak-period support across the Procurement team as needed
Education & Experience
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support role
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; food industry experience is an asset
• Experience working with ERP systems (IFS, SAP, Oracle, or similar) strongly preferred
Skills & Capabilities
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data and systems
• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset

This is a one year contract starting ASAP based out of Richmond, BC. We are a hybrid office environment and the salary range will be between $63,000 - $77,000.
