About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, Workday-savvy Senior Lead in the Data & Analytics function. Reporting to the Global Senior Director, People Data Analytics & HRIS, you will shape and execute our global strategy for Workday data quality, analytics excellence, and insight-driven decision making.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about Workday data structures, complex reporting, data storytelling, and building an analytics culture that senior HR and business leaders trust.

Responsibilities:
  • Align Workday data and analytics strategy with broader business and HR priorities, enabling consistent and scalable insights across all regions.
  • Lead the creation and enforcement of global data governance practices within Workday, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all HCM data domains (job architecture, compensation, talent, time, benefits, etc.).
  • Establish data quality metrics, perform audits, and partner with HRIS to resolve systemic issues in Workday's data model.
  • Manage data integrity remediation programs and drive improvements through validation rulebooks, governance councils, and exception handling processes.
Advanced Workday Reporting & Insights
  • Oversee the design, build, and maintenance of Workday reports, Workday dashboards, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, and other analytics deliverables.
  • Provide deep analytical leadership to interpret complex datasets, perform multi-variable workforce analyses, and answer strategic questions around headcount, attrition, compensation, performance, and workforce planning.
  • Translate technical Workday data concepts into clear, actionable insights for C-suite, HR leaders, Finance partners, and business stakeholders.
Data Visualization & Storytelling
  • Lead the creation of high-impact dashboards and presentations that communicate data narratives clearly and compellingly.
  • Ensure reporting frameworks are intuitive, scalable, and support both high-level executive views and operational workforce insights.
  • Coach the organization in understanding and leveraging Workday data and reports.
Technology & Automation
  • Partner with HRIS to evaluate and implement new Workday features 
  • Drive automation of manual reporting processes using Workday, integrations, and scalable logic to reduce operational burden.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline people data flows between Workday and downstream analytic tools.
Data Visualization & Storytelling
  • Lead the creation of high-impact dashboards and presentations that communicate data narratives clearly and compellingly.
  • Ensure reporting frameworks are intuitive, scalable, and support both high-level executive views and operational workforce insights.
  • Coach the organization in understanding and leveraging Workday data and reports.
About You
The Essentials:
  • Deep expertise in Workday HCM reporting, including Advanced Reporting, Calculated Fields, Worksheets, Dashboards, and Workday's data model.
  • Strong understanding of people data, HR processes, and global data governance.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and turn them into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience leading a global analytics/reporting team and influencing senior executives.
  • Exceptional communication and data visualization skills.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with simultaneous global initiatives.

  • Flexibility to collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and analytical rigor.

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range $110,000—$120,000 CAD
