DCI is a private First Nations-owned investment firm in Whitehorse, Yukon that holds and manages most investment and business assets of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations (CAFN).

Harbour Door Services is currently looking to hire a full-time Warehouse & Material Coordinator.

Position Summary

The Warehouse & Material Coordinator is responsible for receiving, organizing, and managing inventory and project-specific materials used in garage door installation and service operations. This role ensures that all required materials are received accurately, stored safely, and prepared in advance of scheduled installation dates, while maintaining a clean, organized, and WorkSafeBC-compliant warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, including garage doors, hardware, electric openers, and related materials
  • Verify deliveries against bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders
  • Check materials for completeness, accuracy, and damage and report discrepancies as required
  • Organize and track inventory and project-specific materials to ensure readiness ahead of installation schedules
  • Stage materials for upcoming jobs to support installation and service crews
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and communicate material shortages or issues to operations staff
  • Keep the warehouse, yard, and storage areas clean, organized, and efficient
  • Ensure materials are stored safely and in compliance with WorkSafeBC  requirements
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required
  • Support general warehouse and materials-handling duties as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, materials receiving, or inventory role preferred
  • Ability to read and understand bills of lading, packing slips, and work orders
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and move materials as required
  • Forklift certification an asset (or willingness to obtain)
  • Familiarity with construction materials or garage door products considered an asset
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with physical demands

  • Strong emphasis on safety, organization, and cleanliness
