We're looking for a Development Intern to support the team on a range of activities related to planning, approvals, financial analysis, and project coordination. This role provides exposure to the development process and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to real estate projects across the portfolio in a highly collaborative, fun and dynamic team environment.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Development Intern will assist in all team projects, such as:

  • Periodic reporting and forecasting
  • Supporting return updates and financial analysis
  • Providing modelling assistance on projects
  • Conducting market reporting and related research
  • Supporting municipal development approval processes
  • Collaborating with internal teams to maintain alignment with project schedules, budgets, and quality objectives
  • Conducting research on planning initiatives, policies, and regulatory frameworks
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks as required

    • QUALIFICATIONS

  • 0–2 years of experience in planning, real estate development, architecture, finance, or related fields
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant University program University program in Urban Planning, Architecture, Real Estate Development, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Clear communication skills, strong judgment, and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Familiarity with municipal planning frameworks or development processes is an asset
  • Experience with Excel‑based modelling or pro forma concepts is an asset (training provided)

    • The base salary for this position is $21.00 hourly.
